ESX 4.0 Crash

Had a crash this morning and had a ton of these errors in the vmkernel logs for several days: WARNING: NMP: nmp_DeviceAttemptFailover: Retry world failover device “naa.6006016017d0240068d2eed80a69df11”. It wasn’t exactly a crash, the host was still available over ILO but all of the guests we not responding.

I think it’s related to this issue since this hosts is a non-patched vSphere 4.0 host and this may be the fix accoridng to that article.

This is SAN storage not iSCSI
